In this fun and approachable class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong including understanding the tiles and the National Mahjong League card to learning the flow of the game and the basic strategies that will get you confidently calling “Mahjong!”
No experience is necessary. Our instructors break the game down step-by-step so beginners can quickly feel comfortable at the table. Generally, several 101 lessons should be taken before taking Mahj 102, which focuses more on Strategy.

If you are looking for new people to play with, this is a great opportunity to meet other players! June Mini League- 3 weeks (June 3, 10, 17 or 24)
Join us for a 3 or 4 week competitive, friendly series designed for players to enjoy consistent weekly play. Each session includes several timed rounds of game play. Points are tracked weekly and standings are updated after each session. First, second and third Place prizes are awarded at the end of the fourth week.

This two hour class if for those who have taken one or two beginner lessons and want to sharpen their skills. It is an advanced strategy class for those that want to take their game to the next level! It is best if you have taken at least 3 or 4 Mahj 101 classes before taking this class. The class will focus more on strategy, defensive playing and learning how and when to pivot. You will go from a beginner who knows the rules into a confident player who understands why to make specific moves!

Spring Break Kids Class
Schools Out! Join us for a kid-friendly Mahjong class where screens go down and tiles stack up! Students will learn the basics, build strategy skills, and play in a fun, encouraging environment. Whether your child is brand new to the game or ready to level up, this class is all about confidence, connection, and having a blast. Taught by Mary from All Things Mahj, this class is a great way for your child to learn the game everyone is playing! We will have snacks and fun raffle prizes! Ages 8 and up.
